IML’s Private Portfolio Managers Tuan Luu and Marc Whitaker discussed how they manage the fund to deliver consistent returns with lower volatility than the sharemarket and greater resilience when markets drop.

Tuan and Marc employ a dynamic, opportunistic approach to investing that leverages IML’s skills in stock selection and income generation mixed with corporate events (like demergers, takeovers and capital issues) as well as conservative options trading.

In the past four years since the fund was launched, it has delivered a total return of +6.0% pa, including a return of +7.6% in the year to July 2022.
